Filing for divorce in BC is generally a three stage process. Each stage requires a trip to the court, unless you are using our optional BC Divorce Filing Service.

With our BC Divorce Filing Service we will file your BC divorce papers in court for just $99.95. Simply print your papers, sign them and return them to us for filing with the court.

Our Easy 3 Step Process

Our Easy 3 Step Process was developed by a British Columbia family lawyer to guide you through the process of obtaining your BC divorce as quickly and easily as possible.

Here's how it works:

Step 1 - File for Divorce. We will email you the stage 1 papers with easy to follow instructions. Simply sign your papers and return them to us together with your certificate of marriage. You may pay the court fee of $218.00 online or by money order. We will review your divorce papers for accuracy, file them in court and notify you when we are done.

Step 2 - Request Divorce Order. We will send the stage 2 papers with easy to follow instructions. Simply sign the papers and swear the affidavit(s) and return them to us for filing with the court. You may pay the court fee of $62.00 online or by money order. We will review your divorce papers for accuracy, file them in court and notify you when we are done.

Step 3 - Obtain Divorce Order. When the judge approves your application for divorce, you will be granted a divorce order. We will obtain and email you a copy of the divorce order for your records. Your divorce is automatically final 31 days after the divorce order is granted if no appeal is filed.
